SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH was founded in Dusseldorf, Germany
in 1919.

Today, the SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Group is the world's largest manufacturer,
processor and distributor of special steel long products and employs
about 10,000 people worldwide.

As a producer, the Group ranks first in the global market for both stainless
long products and tool steels. In alloy and high-alloy special and
engineering steels we rank among the top ten.

Organized in 3 divisons, Production, Processing and Distribution/Services,
we have an extensive global network with Steel Mills in Europe (Germany,
France, Italy & Switzerland), USA & Canada.  Our own global distribution covers
some 30 countries around the globe.
